Privacy policy

Break the Huddle teaches American football. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it collects nothing about you. This page says exactly what stays on your phone and the one thing that can leave it: a report you choose to email us.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no server, no account, no sign-in, no analytics or crash-reporting SDK, no advertising and no third-party tracking of any kind. Its App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

What stays on your phone

Your progress (lessons, answers, XP, streak), your profile choices (who you are, your positions, your rule set), your jersey (an optional name, a number and colors), your own team words, a team pack you load, the plays you draw, your reminder setting and any mistake reports waiting to be sent.

All of it is stored only on your device. We never see it. Deleting the app deletes all of it, and Settings โ†’ Erase everything on this phone deletes it without removing the app.

Things you choose to share

Backups, team packs, plays, pictures and the Football 101 guide leave the phone only when you share them yourself, through the share sheet, a link or a QR code. A team pack holds a team name, a rule set and words: nothing about any player. A backup is your own file and can include your jersey name; keep it somewhere you trust.

Reporting a mistake

When you report a mistake, the app writes an email for you in your own email app. It contains the item's ID, the app version, your rule set and your note: nothing else about you is added. Nothing is sent until you tap Send in your email app, and that email reaches us from your email address.

We use that email only to fix the mistake and, if needed, reply once. We then delete it, including your address. If you report a mistake and are under 13, a parent can ask us to delete the message at any time at [email protected].

Reminders

The daily Snap Reps reminder is off unless you turn it on. It is a local notification scheduled by your phone: nothing is sent to us or to any push service.

Children

Players of every age use the app. Because it collects no personal information, there is nothing for us to hold about a child. The one exception is a report a child chooses to email us; we use it only to fix the mistake and delete it after replying.

Apple

If you allow it in your iPhone's settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports with us through App Store Connect. Apple's own privacy policy covers that, and you can turn it off in Settings โ†’ Privacy & Security โ†’ Analytics & Improvements.

Your rights

Wherever you live, including the EU (GDPR) and Israel (Privacy Protection Law), you can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Since we hold nothing except report emails until we delete them, the answer is usually "nothing". Write to [email protected].

Changes

If the app ever starts collecting anything, this page will say so before it does, and the App Store label will change with it. The date at the top shows the last update.
